I’d really have to WOW TBC Gold read/research a whole lot more. I actually only know that it did happen; the when; just how much it cost, etc., but I do not think I ever saw the why. I didn’t think Vivendi Games was ever that hard up for money, but I suppose something Activision had appeared enticing enough.
The two Vanilla and TBC classic are all outside, able to experience as it was. And. . . And I would say I enjoy the classic variations a whole lot less than retail now. It is a whole lot slower and simpler. It is more clunky. It’s a lot more grindy and time consuming. Rewards matter a great deal less because the PvE encounters are balanced around someone with performance difficulties and a good deal worse sense and skill of the game.
Really isn’t that the games have become worse, it is the player mentality that have changed. Coupled with a slew of tools for learning and assistance. People wanting to take shortcuts rather than learning, causing them to feel as though it’s a grind when they can not simply jump to the rewards. People today consume content a great deal quicker and use a lot of crutches to do it. They bypass most of the investigating and trial and error components, which is exactly what they remember most lovingly in the previous games, in favor of optimisation and min/max from the get go. A lot of optimization isn’t even about doing things , but removing things together. Which also contributes to people whining that they”feel forced” doing things because they’re so used to being able to bypass it.
I 100% believe this was the case in Hearthstone. I haven’t played in a long time but back when they started adding cards would be a few new broken strategy everyone had to play Blizzard sat about for weeks saying everything was fine prior to waiting to buy Burning Crusade Classic Gold release some half-assed counter within the next expansion. When it failed they finally delivered a balance patch to fix the original issue. I am sure people stuck around just to see if the new cards could alter whatever so the player numbers were fostered.
