Nude sportsman-nude:mm was founded in 1996. Tokyo designer Masahiko Maruyama tried to achieve a certain extreme in the functionality and material of clothes: the body no longer feels the presence of clothes. He emphasized that nudity (brand name) does not mean representativeness and nudity, and nudity is nudity. But it is hard to conceal, there is still an adult side in his works. Those shawls, structured slender silhouettes, loose mixed tailoring, carving and layering patterns are all Masahiko Maruyama’s special expressions of his brand concept.
