If“character development won’t last over“, that sounds like you can have a character with PSO2 Meseta the same name in both games, but I would not call that shared. That is exactly what they said. I’m presuming you get to keep your character’s name, look, weapons, units, and mag. They haven’t mentioned anything about makeup yet which has some people worried.

Registered data is whatever you’ve“registered“ on your character, this contains hairstyles, headparts, accessories, eyebrows, eyes, eyelashes, face paint, body paint, decals, voices, basewear, innerwear & of course emotes. My friends & I have been creating“enroll that information“ jokes everywhere one of us has a cosmetic we desired. So I’m 98% certain this is what they mean when they state enrolled data, which would mean all those people trying to hoard cosmetic tickets in the hopes of selling them NGS won’t work as only registered items will move over.

So which means outerwear and outfits won’t move? That’s still a huge fuck you to NA gamers who invested money and no one should scratch anymore to be honest… We do know we could bring over firearms and units, so they could handle outfits/outerwear the same way. We do see older Ash running along with his previous outfit at the trailer. The footage they showed of this Placeholder Otherwise Known As Ash has him wearing his trademark default Close Quarters outfit. It is still no difficult confirmation, but that’d mean he took it with him to NGS. FWIW that outfit is also available as basewear in JP so it is even more uncertain… but yeah I’d wager a good 10k meseta on outfits and outerwear also transferring.This is what I had been thinking also and makes the most sense. This way the game has the primary core aspects players expect but is fresh and new at the same moment. I think it’s still likely to be instanced rather than open world. Gameplay shown up to now has revealed 8 player instance maxes. This wouldn’t break current AI systems, thinking about the current AI only follow your route or teleport to you if they get stuck. I am thinking it is going to be a similar system to what Dragon’s Dogma Online had. The world is open and huge, but everything outside of towns was instanced. They watered down the scaling to a formulation and changed a lot of classes but now that it’s gone I constantly want to play with it.

I’d love Dragon’s Dogma Online-styled encounters in Phantasy Star if because it gives us a reason to buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta learn more about the world (or at least fast travel to it to hop in and out) and to also have a challenge with the directors and enemies.
